I scheduled an appointment so that a high tech person could do a diagnostic as to why I lost my dash board; I took pictures of the situation. After 5 hours I was told they couldn't find the reason because their tech team didn't have the senior tech person to do the diagnostic and even leaving it 3 days wouldn't help. Although I know it isn't engine failure, it is still startling to lose all front panel and no one could help. What if it happens again and its no longer under warrantee? I also had told them that my radio goes out and doesn't come back and they did a software upgrade. However 3 days later radio went out again for 1 day and I called and told them he upgrade didn't fix the problem. they didn't have any suggestion for correcting the problem

We understand how concerning it is to experience issues with your dashboard and radio. Please be assured that your vehicle still has plenty of warranty left, with approximately 30,000 miles and half of the warranty period remaining. This gives us ample time to work together to resolve any ongoing problems.
Currently, Volkswagen of America is aware of the radio and dashboard problems affecting some vehicles and is actively working on a solution. They have informed us that attempts at replacing the radio and other troubleshooting attempts have not been effective in fixing the issue. This means we know there isn't a current solution available yet. When we don't have an immediate answer, it's because the brand itself hasn't identified a definitive fix—not due to a lack of effort on our part.
